Mediscreen Clinic is owned and operated by our GP's and has proudly been a part of the Boroondara community for the last 20 years. Our general practitioners, practice staff and allied health professionals are dedicated to providing quality care for our community.

Reception

Our reception staff will be happy to assist you with any queries. Please be aware that during busy periods, response time may be longer. Your patience during these times is appreciated. Our staff will always treat you with respect and we require the same from you to ensure satisfactory resolution of your queries.

Telephone calls

Our doctors are in consultation during working hours and are unable to take telephone calls. However a message can be taken for them to call you back at the end of the day if possible. Consultations cannot take place over the phone so a follow-up appointment may be required. For calls of an urgent nature you may speak with your doctor, reception will need to get some information from you first regarding the nature of the call.

Reminder system

Mediscreen has an electronic reminder system. This allows us to ensure you take preventative measure with your health via regular check-ups. We will send you a letter to remind you when you are due for immunisations, pap smears, blood tests etc. If you would prefer not to be a part of this system, please notify reception.

Medical Reports

Insurance, licence or pre-employment medicals can be performed at the surgery. Please notify reception when making an appointment if you require a medical report as this will require a longer consultation in most cases.

Results

You will be contacted if any follow up appointment is required regarding your pathology results. Alternatively, you may arrange an appointment with your doctor to discuss your results in detail. Please keep in mind that most results can take 1 - 7 days and results are no longer discussed over the telephone .

Travel vaccinations

Travel medicine and advice is available from our doctors. They have the latest travel advice for all countries. We have a fully stocked vaccine fridge so your vaccinations can be done on the same day. Book your appointment 4 weeks before you travel. We are a registered Yellow Fever vaccination Clinic.

Feedback

We appreciate your feedback on our clinic and take any grievances seriously. You can leave feedback verbally or preferably in writing addressed to the practice manager, your doctor or a designated staff member. If you feel you need to take the matter further and discuss your issues outside the clinic please contact

Your Privacy

Your medical records are electronic and only accessible by our staff. Release of this record requires a written authorisation from the patient. A $20.00 administration fee will be charged (fee not rebateable through Medicare). A full copy of our privacy policy is available for download here or from our reception staff.
