Things to know about appointments

Standard Consultations are booked at 10-15 min intervals between 8:00am and 7:00pm Monday to Friday. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and doctor.
Appointments are required, however walk- ins will be available for emergencies and non urgent appointments will be accomodated with the understanding that there may be a waiting period. Emergency cases will take precedence over non- urgent consultations.
If you do not have an appointment you will be offered the first available time. If possible, please call prior to arrival to book an appointment.
A longer consultation can be booked if required or if you are seeing the doctor for counselling, minor procedures, insurance/pre-employment medicals and mental health care plans. Please advise reception at the time of booking if this is the case.
Home visits can be arranged, under exceptional circumstances, with the prior approval of your doctor. We also use or LOCUM service 13SICK for urgent afterhour home visits.

Some appointments can extend longer than expected and cause some delay. In these circumstances your understanding and patience would be appreciated. We are open on weekends as we realise that it is difficult for some people to come in during the week. All weekend consultations will be privately billed. The doctors work weekends on a rostered basis. A cancellation fee of $30 will be charged when you fail to notify the practice (no less than 2 hours prior) that you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. This charge is not debatable through Medicare. Please remember that if a life is in danger call an ambulance first on 000.
